Dying Light Franchise Director, Techland

With almost 25 years of experience in the game industry – over a decade as Editor-in-Chief of leading Polish gaming media outlets and more than ten years as a producer, game designer and publisher at Techland – Tymon Smektała remains humbled by the creativity, inventiveness, and “sky’s the limit” mentality of the video games medium.

His credits include senior and lead design, creative, communications and publishing roles on “Dying Light”, “Dying Light: The Following”, “Dying Light 2: Stay Human” and “Dying Light: The Beast”. Currently serving as Franchise Director for the entire “Dying Light” series, he is also particularly eager to experience Lisbon properly – its light, its hills, and, most importantly, its food, including a big stack of pastéis de nata.
